For Sale: Bullet and Shell: War as the Soldier Saw It - George Williams - Illustrated by Edwin Forbes - Franklin Press 1882 Cover has heavy wear especially at corners. Cover also has scuffs and stains. Book has undergone some physical stress - see photo #2 textured spine creases and photo #3 uneven shape with front pages hanging over back cover. Front cover and spine is detached and barely hanging on - see photo #5. Foxing evident on many pages. Despite flaws the page binding is mostly OK, pages are relatively attractive and it is a beautiful antique book. I do my best to identify any flaws and describe book condition accurately.
